Two groups, one purpose.

The Aviation Explorers Middle School Club is open to boys and girls in the sixth through eighth grade.
The Aviation Explorers Post is open to young men and women ages 14 and completed the 8th grade and not yet 21 years old.

Aviation Exploring is a hands-on program that exposes young people to flying through FAA approved classroom training by Certified Flight Instructors. Youth participants can supplement this ground knowledge with flying lessons once reaching the age of 14 years old. Career Exploring features field trips and other activities that allow you to experience firsthand what it's like to be a pilot, aircraft mechanic, flight engineer, or air traffic controller. Best of all, the members have input for the activities they want to pursue. Aviation Explorers supports the increased interest in career exploration from the Department of Education's recent focus on the sixteen career clusters at the middle school level.
