Learn to Fly

The Aviation Explorers Post  is open to young men and women ages 14 (and completed the 8th grade) and not yet 21 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Aviation. If you have not yet completed the 8th grade, you can join the Middle School Explorer Club. These programs offers aviation experiences, as a possible career or for the sheer pleasure of being around airplanes.
Aviation Exploring is a hands-on program that exposes young people to flying, combining classroom training with flying lessons, all under the guidance of FAA Certified Flight Instructors.
Career Exploring features field trips and other activities that allow you to experience firsthand what it's like to be a pilot, aircraft mechanic, flight engineer, or air traffic controller.
Best of all, the members have input for the activities they want to pursue as well as opportunities for leading others.
